This tour will take us from Salta through the province of Jujuy, allowing us to explore and visit its charming landscapes and villages while traveling through nearly 10,000 years of history.
From south to north, the Quebrada de Humahuaca begins in Volcán, where the mountains abruptly abandon their greenery and give way to ochre and brown mountain ranges. Following the course of the Río Grande, we arrive at the town of Tumbaya, home to its beautiful church built in 1796. Taking a detour along National Route No. 52, we enter Purmamarca, a town of legends and singers, which has a church dedicated to Saint Rose of Lima dating back to 1648.
The town of Purmamarca was built at the foot of the internationally renowned “Hill of Seven Colors.” The journey continues through Tilcara. Further north, after passing through Huacalera and the Tropic of Capricorn, we reach Uquía, whose church holds one of the most important collections of the famous “Arquebusier Angels,” emblematic examples of Cusco painting.
The city of Humahuaca, the very heart of the Quebrada, awaits visitors with an abundance of natural, historical, and cultural attractions.
The tour ends in Salta.
Continuing on, we reach Alemania, the gateway to the Valles Calchaquíes, where colors multiply in countless shades along the route of this stunning ravine.
Alongside the road, which follows the Las Conchas River, wind erosion has sculpted a series of astonishing natural formations, including La Garganta del Diablo (The Devil’s Throat), El Anfiteatro (The Amphitheater)—a gigantic fissure in the mountain that forms a spectacular rock stage—Los Castillos (The Castles), and other remarkable shapes that depend on one’s imagination and the shifting sunlight that illuminates the mountains of this magical ravine.
Continuing on, we arrive at the junction of the Santa María and Calchaquí Valleys with the Quebrada de Las Conchas, offering views of the Tres Cruces and Morales hills. Within this stunning mountain landscape, at the foot of Cerro San Isidro, flanked by rivers and surrounded by vineyards that give birth to its famous wines—including the renowned Torrontés—stands Cafayate.
In the afternoon, return to the city of Salta.
Day at leisure. You can choose some optional excursions to discover the city or walk during all day to mix with locals.

Next, we will visit the villages of Picheuta, Polvaredas, Punta de Vacas, and the Los Penitentes ski resort.
Further along our route, we will come across the Puente del Inca, a natural architectural wonder with thermal water springs.
Continuing our journey, at 2,750 meters above sea level, we will reach the viewpoint of Cerro Aconcagua, the Colossus of the Americas, standing at 6,959 meters. From here, visitors can access Laguna Horcones and the Aconcagua Provincial Park.
Following the international route, we will arrive at our final destination, Las Cuevas, a European-style village located at 3,200 meters above sea level.
Between Las Cuevas and the international tunnel, there is a road that leads up to the Christ the Redeemer Monument, standing at 4,200 meters above sea level, a symbol of unity between Argentina and Chile.
These circuits are developed among vineyards in the departments of Lujan de Cuyo and Maipu. We will contact the work culture in the hands of immigrants, using irrigation techniques (canals and ditches) inherited from the former Aborigines, that managed the huarpes to change a vast desert into a productive oasis .
