The Chonos route starts from Puerto Montt on board Cruceros Skorpios to navigate the geography of Islands, channels and fjords in the South of Chile. Passengers live impressive maritime and Andean landscapes, visit picturesque villages of fishermen and shellfish beds, relax in spectacular natural hot springs in the Quitralco fjord and will remember forever the overwhelming dynamic presence of the San Rafael glacier.

This excursion transmits the emotion of a multiple Buenos Aires. We will get to know the symbol of our city: the Obelisk. We will go through squares like Mayo, San Martín and Alvear. Avenues: Corrientes, De Mayo, 9 de Julio, among others. Neighborhoods with history like La Boca and San Telmo, sumptuous like Palermo and Recoleta, modern like Puerto Madero. The parks Lezama and Tres de Febrero, and commercial and financial areas and the Football Stadium.

A unique tour through our city, forests, lakes, and mountains, following the shore of Lake Nahuel Huapi along Avenida Bustillo. The beauty of the landscape is present throughout the journey. Various points along the way, including natural viewpoints like Bahía López and Punto Panorámico, are perfect for taking in this natural wonder.
After passing Playa Bonita, we arrive at the base of Cerro Campanario. Here, we can ascend to the summit at 1,050 meters. At the top, there is a panoramic café with a capacity for 80 people, featuring two terraces and a 20-meter-high structure.
The Cerro Campanario chairlift, located in the “center of the landscape,” lifts visitors to the “perfect height for awe,” offering the most breathtaking views of the area.
Today you have a free day to enjoy and spend on your own. You can choose some optional excursions to discover the city or walk during all day to mix with locals.

In this experience we will make the Andean Crossing, which connects the cities of Puerto Varas in Chile and Bariloche in Argentina or v.v and in which we will enjoy views of the beautiful lakes Todos los Santos, Frías and Nahuel Huapi, among other beautiful landscapes.
Andean Crossing is an international tourist adventure in which you will navigate the Andes Mountains through three beautiful lakes, Lake Todos los Santos, Lake Frías and Lake Nahuel Huapi, which are connected by four land sections and which unite the cities of Puerto Varas in Chile and Bariloche in Argentina.
Set sail from Terminal Skorpios in Puerto Montt. Navigation through the Llanquihue archipelago. Sighting of the city of Calbuco. Gulf of Ancud.
5:00 p.m. Landfall in Isla Mechuque of the archipelago of the island of Chiloé. Disembark in boats in this picturesque Chilote town, where you can visit its streets, craft fair and museum, as well as boat rides through inland canals, depending on tide and weather conditions.
7:30 p.m. We continue heading south through the Chiloé archipelago, crossing the Corcovado Gulf at midnight.
07:30 hrs. Take to the San Rafael Inlet and Channel Icebergs.
09:00 hrs. The ship enters the lagoon and anchor 2 KM from the glacier. Excursion boats between the multicolored glaciers, weather permitting.
15:30 The Ship is approaching the glacier.
17:00 hrs. Sail towards the fjord Quitralco.
07:30 hrs. Take to the San Rafael Inlet and Channel Icebergs.
09:00 hrs. The ship enters the lagoon and anchor 2 KM from the glacier. Excursion boats between the multicolored glaciers, weather permitting.
15:30 The Ship is approaching the glacier.
17:00 hrs. Sail towards the fjord Quitralco.
08:00 a.m. Docked at the Quitralco pier. After breakfast, passengers will be able to take thermal baths at 32° and 38°C, in indoor or outdoor pools and walk along the trails of the place.
If the weather allows it, excursions are made in motor boats through the interior of the Fjord. 5:00 p.m. Set sail towards Chiloé navigating through the Moraleda and Pérez Norte canals.
08:00 a.m. Navigating through the Leucayec Channel, partial view of the village of Melinka, in the Chonos archipelago. Corcovado Gulf crossing. In this area, if the conditions allow it, we will have the chance to see Blue or Alfaguaras whales.
We continue sailing and skirting the eastern coast of Chiloé, arriving at Islote Conejos at 11:00 a.m., located in the Queilen channel. Disembark to take a ride in motor boats, surrounding this small island where Magellanic penguins and numerous birds of the area live. 1:00 p.m. We set sail sailing between the Lemuy and Shilling islands.
5:00 p.m. Arrival in Dalcahue, disembarkation and site visit. We recommend its craft fair, the church and its promenade along the waterfront. 11:00 p.m. Heading to Puerto Montt. Farewell party, Captain’s dinner.
08:00 a.m. Breakfast docked at the Skorpios Terminal pier.
09:00 a.m. Disembarkation and transfer of passengers. Arrival and move to the hotel.
We will begin on the main street in the city center, Avenida Libertador Bernardo O’Higgins (better known as Alameda), where we will visit La Moneda Presidential Palace, a neoclassical building that holds a significant part of Chilean history.
We will walk through the pedestrian promenades of Huérfanos and Ahumada.
Next, we will climb Cerro Santa Lucía, a beautiful and historically important site that served as a strategic point for the founding of the city.
We will then cross the Mapocho River to reach Barrio Bellavista, a neighborhood known for its vibrant cultural and artistic scene, as well as being one of the most popular areas for Santiago’s nightlife.
Transfer to the airport to board your return flight.
